Voyager has been great so far - thanks for the great app. However, one issue I run into involved using voyager on desktop. Its perfectly usable, but the browser version looks a little awkward as the layout is cantered and narrow; typical for a mobile layout.
Just wondering if there are any plans to add a dedicated desktop layout, or else to add further appearance customization so that users can edit the layout to match their needs. The official lemmy web app is completely broken for me (no idea what changed) so this change is all I’d need to become a voyager user across all devices. Thanks!
There might be better desktop support in the future, for example adding support for viewing feed and comments side by side (like iOS Mail app).
But I wouldn’t hold your breath. There’s a LOT to do ahead of that :) There’s also a lot of other great apps targeting desktop specifically in development!

It definitely wins on information density, and has a certain nostalgia to it. I do find it a bit ugly though - I actually like the look of the “normal” Lemmy client, it just makes very bad use of space.
I had just raised an issue in GitHub essential requesting this feature, before I saw your post. https://github.com/aeharding/voyager/issues/364.
