New season, I’m pretty stoked. What do you think of the cast?

I’m not usually one for reality shows, but I found the show decently amusing. Though after binging like 10 seasons I stopped watching.
I enjoyed the first episode. Some good characters.
Really wish Jeff would stop saying, “This is how we do it!”

Lulu is a disaster. Not one but two potential quitees on day 2?! I’m beginning to tire of the nerdy superfan casting. It’s fun to see more normal people/body shapes, but it’s starting to make the competiton unwatchable. Watching Brandon flop around like a dead fish (after taking an oar to the nads?) is just cringey.
That said, I like Emily’s bluntness. Listening to the convo about the pyramids short circuited my brain. It’ll be fun to watch her blunder through interacting with humans.

At early stages, why does anyone take the beware advantage? It’s seriously crippling and as long as you’re not in immediate danger, it just makes you a liability. Although Austin looked a little too excited to find that advantage. To the point where I applaud the camera person angling the wood to hide his… Wood.
I like these 90 min episodes, so glad they’re sticking around.
Also, survivor 45: attorneys vs laywers vs public defenders?
Let’s not forget the interchangeable graduate students. The guy who exclaimed he is the smartest person ever with apparently 2 separate personalities that can merge into one undeniable competitor (forget his name, looks a little like Napoleon Dynamite) would def fail my class. In fact, I’d make sure of it!
Is there any interest to have a live thread during episodes? It would be fun to dunk on this group with all you fine survivor fans
The multiple quitees was brutal. I miss old Jeff, who would have ripped into her with no holds barred. All we got was an incredulous look.

I was less than impressed with this as the opener episode… I did not like Emily and what she was perceiving as ‘threats’ she jumped down Bruce’s back when Jeff introduced him back like she felt attacked, then she attacked her two teammates as liars… and even when Jeff told the teams, no one got flint… she then found a new reason to target the strongest players…
Brandon was pathetic and cringe to watch but it’s forgivable next to Hannah… I am a challenge fan… I don’t like quiters… I don’t like her soft serve quit either for a smoke and a bed… my main issue with her quit was she took opportunity from some one else…
Over all I have never yelled at my TV more in a survivor episode that, that made it worth it… I enjoy the premiere but I had better be more wowed as the season progresses
Honestly not a lot to like. Emily is gonna be awful and people will keep her as a goat all season.

Yep!! It will be interesting to see how see plays out… I bet she will actually make the merge… they put a lot of edits on her for a first episode
It has been a pretty quiet community so far but I’m hoping people start chiming in as the season gets going.
I actually think the new cast looks fun and colorful. I’m also historically terrible at picking winners so I’m waiting to see it unfold.
