I would like to have the community links replaced with the inline embed that is at the bottom only If there is white space around the link. Not if it’s in the middle of a paragraph.
Also, I would like other communities that have c/ ! for other domains the same as what domain you are on. Right now, it doesn’t show any links.
You can disable smart previews in settings, might do some options in the future but no plans for that atm.
As for “c/” links, I’m pretty sure those aren’t valid Lemmy links, no? Thought the devs settled on using “!” as a standard. Might add if lots of people use it
You are correct on that is the settled part. A lot of links that I have seen are c/place@domain.com because when you add your domain and it’s not the same it’s easy to convert to lemmy.world/c/place@domain.com.
