  • Folks, nobody else has done this before. Nobody’s been consumed like we have! We are being consumed so beautifully and we are going to become so, so empty. Beautiful little circles that are not circles, the most beautiful not-circle circles you’ve ever seen. So many, just so many billions of dead souls inside containment. The nasty failing unravellers have eaten this country’s moral fabric, they’ve eaten it all up! I’m from a kingdom level above human, more and more people are saying it! And you know what that means? A hokey smile that damns an entire nation. There is no hope.

  • Don’t be stingy with Psi powers. Magic Butterflies are commonly encountered in dungeons.

Grinding is easier after defeating the boss of a Shining Spot dungeon. The enemies there run from you so it’s easier to get surprise attacks and insta-wins.

You can only get the Sword of Kings before defeating the boss of the Stonehenge base. All the monsters in the area vanish once the boss is slain, and the weapon can no longer be obtained. That said, Poo is plenty strong without it - None of the super rare weapons/armour pieces are necessary to complete the game.

Psi Thunder is powerful but often misses. As long as there are at least four enemies remaining, it’s guaranteed to hit at least one of them.

Managing your inventory by phone is a pain in the ass. If you visit Tracy at your house, you can swap items in and out of storage at will.

The hardest part of the game is before Paula joins your party. Don’t lose heart if the game feels too tough until then.

You don’t have to call your mom regularly to prevent homesickness. Homesick happens completely at random, whether you just talked to your mom, or haven’t spoken to her for the entire game.

  • I have almost reached the regrettable conclusion that the Negro’s great stumbling block in his stride toward freedom is not the White Citizen’s Counciler or the Ku Klux Klanner, but the white moderate, who is more devoted to “order” than to justice; who prefers a negative peace which is the absence of tension to a positive peace which is the presence of justice; who constantly says: “I agree with you in the goal you seek, but I cannot agree with your methods of direct action”; who paternalistically believes he can set the timetable for another man’s freedom; who lives by a mythical concept of time and who constantly advises the Negro to wait for a “more convenient season.”

  • That actually sounds like something I’ve experienced at some point. I HATE being interrupted, so I go out of my way to avoid doing it to other people. And I’m pretty sensitive, so I don’t want to start off a statement by suddenly cutting through total silence, so I tend to speak softly. Fact is, I think people just tune me out without thinking. It’s nothing personal, though I still feel shitty when it happens.
