I was born poor and conservative, I grew up with poor black/hispanic people and even my close friends were in poverty. It still took a very long time to break what my parents were telling me versus what I was seeing. I feel like what would of changed my mind quickest was having more interactions with rich people, I never really experienced people outside of my class until I was past 18.
