Have you tried Mystery Dungeon? I think there are four of them on Switch. There’s Shiren the Wanderer 5 & 6, Chocobo’s Mystery Dungeon Every Buddy, and Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Rescue Team DX. If you’ve never tried the Mystery Dungeon format, then I’d recommend playing the demo for the Pokemon one to see if you like it first.

Cinnamon or Xfce are more similar to Windows’ user interface. Between those two, Xfce is more lightweight than Cinnamon. MATE is more for people who liked GNOME 2 and want that interface over what the current GNOME is.

Cinnamon would probably be the most friendly as a new user, but I personally haven’t used it in years and I’m not familiar with its current state.

Other than the birdstrike, both were Airbus A320 family planes and they were both going from LaGuardia to Charlotte. And it could be argued that they happened on the same airline since US Airways merged with American in 2015.

The Lemmy software has a built-in word filter that I believe can be disabled by an instance’s admins. Said word filter doesn’t really account for languages other than English and I know that the developers did receive some criticism for that.

Tablets are better than a smartphone for drawing. They’re also cheaper than a pen display and have a smaller learning curve than a pen tablet. They’re also a bit more portable and tend to have better battery life than a laptop. I also like using a tablet for reading comics.

Knuckles’ Chaotix

It’s one of the more obscure Sonic titles since it was a 32X exclusive and it’s never been rereleased. It doesn’t really take advantage of the 32X’s capabilities and it’s generally regarded as being on the easy side, but I think it’s worth checking out.

For PS2 you could get a RAD2X cable. The RAD2X cables are based on RetroTINK. It’s not cheap, but it’s probably the best option for you since you only have a couple consoles. Do note that this also requires a mini-HDMI cable and a micro-USB cable to function.

For Wii you could get a dedicated HDMI adapter like this one. This specific adapter is the one recommended by RetroRGB. If your television is old enough that it has component input, then that’s also a good option.

Edit: I forgot to mention that both of the Wii options I mentioned don’t upscale. It’s just getting the best picture out of the Wii’s native capabilities.

Not a JRPG, but you guys need to check out Metal Wolf Chaos. It’s a game where the president uses a giant robot to save America from a rebel army led by the vice president. It was originally released as an Xbox exclusive and only in Japan, but there was a remaster for PS4, Xbox One, and PC that was released worldwide. Also, it was developed by FromSoftware.
