The US is failing and is in a death spiral that is true however this does not mean that China entertaining open confrontation with the US will mean it backing down in fact empires are the most dangerous when they feel there power slipping away. Besides China does not need to do anything right now Russia is wining in Ukraine and the Axis of Resistance is moving up the escalation ladder in accordance with their strategy. Iran and Russia have extensive military dealings with China and vice versa as time drags on they become more powerful and the US weakens the development of these 3 countries hyper-sonic missiles is a testament to their ties. I am not pretending to be an expert on military matters but everything I have read indicates that the window of US supremacy in technology navy air force etc is evaporating. However to dismiss the US out of hand as a paper tiger (which it looks like it’s puppet state Israel is) might be a bit too optimistic at this point. All this to say I don’t believe that the US is at it’s weakest they still have a lot of humiliation left before they are brought to a point of no return.
