Absolutely, the moment he won is when it really started. All industries reacted and changed based on this. My friend works in the renewable energy industry, and basically, all of his projects and contracts dried up by December based off what they knew was coming. He basically does nothing for the foreseeable future except wait or get fired. Surely all this change is already seeing a real impact for January numbers.
I just did the same 2 weeks ago! Only difference is i spent about 15 minutes and picked 2 new ones online and got them delivered and hooked up 2 days later. I couldn’t resist when we saw costco had a samsung dryer marked down to $375 which is normally over 1k. I think it’s because it was a color they didn’t make anymore so my win i guess! Best deal I’ve ever found. The washer we just got low-end but different brand then the one we had because it only lasted 5 years. Since we brought 2 items it was another $100 off. Costco was the best since the prices were mostly the same but cost nothing extra for delivery, parts, hookup, and takeaway. I agree, we didn’t care about them matching either so it worked out.
Meh, snack wrap was way better at Wendy’s. Sadly, both went away at the same time in 2020, i always figured it was due to covid. Wendy’s brought it back as well last year i think, but it was different. First they made it bigger and 2nd of course it costs like $8 now so it’s not worth it. The other sad part is Wendy’s killed the grilled chicken option, but apparently, that’s all the wraps use so why have it removed?
Wow, I for one, can’t wait until we have peak content like this over here.
Exactly! Same boat, I am too poor to move! Due to missed payments on mortgage, credit cards, and medical bills, our credit score is abysmal. There is no way we can get a new mortgage or pass credit checks for an apartment. On top of that I don’t have the time or money to invest into the house so there are many things that need to be fixed, some of these absolutely need to before selling it so I also can’t just sell either. 3rd, you’re right. Wherever I do end up moving (if somehow we did get approved), it’s probably going to cost more due to higher interest rates, and it will most likely cost more. We are praying to make it a few more years until stupid daycare is done so we can finally make ends meet a little…
I never thought I would be in this bad of a situation in my life, but here I am and I just want to survive each day. Thinking about money every day for years now is tiring and stressful. They have a name for it, its called poverty brain.
Yeah been using Firefox for over a decade now. I just switched to duckduckgo about a year ago. It took about a month to get used to, but now I love it. Especially since I keep hearing how Google searches are getting worse and worse anyway. I still use youtube, but I don’t use the app and block all ads at least. I put blocks on my network for Google analytics and going to try and give up my Google email address… somehow? I am realizing quick how hard it is to completely cut yourself off from this one company.
It hasn’t even been an entire month yet…
Holy crap, it’s I Think You Should Leave the movie! Oh boy I haven’t been this excited for a movie in a while.
Absolutely, I don’t disagree with your statement at all. I work heavily in systems administration and recently transitioned to networking. I deal with Linux systems, servers, vm’s, Azure daily, and for stability nothing beats Linux. I just tend to agree with the statement above commenting on how you always see these Windows articles, yet almost none actually affect you in the end.
I don’t, but this guy probably does since i think it’s just for testing and is probably only setup temporarily. Either way if I had an air conditioner like this i would appreciate the wheels because they are super heavy.
There is an episode where he tries it and says something that basically hints that he just ate himself and didn’t think it was bad.
Probably because it would suck to carry it every time it needs to be moved.
It’s been the same on win 11. The only experience i have had was at work. I work closely with the updating team, and there have been a few times where things would break like printers, and we would revert the updates to stop it from going to everyone and uninstall. Sometimes, that meant a help desk guy had to go to the pc or remote in to do it manually. I’ve been there 19 years now, and it’s happened twice?
I would say yes just because it’s asked every year I do my taxes. I’m pretty sure you have to report it when you do this, but I am not sure if it’s just as information or to tax you some more. I never had to say yes to find out.
Yup, I saw this and wondered if anyone knew. I’m not good at these, but this one hit me as soon as I saw it.
The comment hate on that site is intense. I think the 5 days as repayment is fine. I guess some people take this stuff more seriously than me!
Were just gonna leave out the loving memorial to OJ?
My last pair was GE. They both started failing around 4 years but we dealt with the issues for another year until the dryer just stopped moving. I feel like 5 years is our average so if I get that I’ll be ok I guess. I think it’s because my wife is crazy when it comes to clothes and have 2 kids so there’s literally a load to 2 loads every day, and it gets a lot of use compared to others. I remember when it was just myself I did 2 loads a week!
