Different people feel comfortable with different names. For a while, and still today, many people refer to it as High Functioning Autism however many people find offense in using that term for themselves.

At the end of the day it is an autism diagnosis, and simply saying Autism often works fine. Most of the time I say I have Autism as it makes things easier for others if I don’t go on long explanations. For what it’s worth I was diagnosed as having Asperger’s Syndrome many years ago (in 2004), however I personally find no offense in the term ‘high functioning autism’ though only because it fits my own self.

I remember when all of my friends would laugh at the iPod Nano, when it released as being super thin, due to all the people accidentally sitting on them or other easy ways in which they broke.

I lost 36KG within two years, after getting into stress eating. It can be done but I understand that it’s a very personal struggle; before my own journey I never truly understood how much of a toll the weight, and struggle to lose it, put on my mental health. Really put a new perspective in my mind when I saw others giving it their all at the gym, I try to give words of encouragement when appropriate.

It felt like they were trying to turn Futurama into an animated sitcom, rehashing other shows. The characters barely had the essence of the previous seasons, and advertising was really shoved down our throats.

Similar situation with punk. There are still Nazi Punks, but they’re asking for trouble at most gigs or areas with that sort of influence. From Dead Kennedys to Chumba Wamba, folks make it known these days they’re not welcome. Shame about the few bands here and there still spreading the rhetorics, yet barking dogs will always be heard in the distance…

I’ve read some horror stories about Bromo Dragonfly… Lasts for days and one person described it as hallucinating that the devil was constantly dragging him into hell, over and over again, for hours.

Isn’t this similar to the light bulb situation? Whereby making light-bulbs more fragile, and less reliable they increase the sales profits?
