I created an instagram account two weeks ago. Everything was fine until I liked a pro-Palestine comment. Suddenly my account was suspended. No other possible reason, and this has happened to multiple people. The government and tech are trying to control social media and the populace. All these changes to twitter (I won’t ever call it “X”), reddit - this is all intentional, ahead of the US election. Soon, they’ll be requiring personal I.D. to use any social media - you will not be allowed any privacy or anonymity online.
The other stuff is just as relevant because he’s dangerous on all fronts. While legally the insurrection gives grounds to disqualify him, everything else, in fact each thing by itself - the racism, ableism, sexism, carrying out the agenda of right wing nutjobs, Russia, should, in a civilized society, make him a political leper. Instead he’s a viable candidate, after 4 torturous years of moron, an attempted insurrection, numerous trials, convicted of rape … and here we are all again.
I do that, but I don’t like the layout. Thanks though.
Unreal that only one state has bothered to do this. He’s a Russian UI, bigot billionaires’ puppet, a fucking insurrectionist and spews Nazi propaganda, but hey let’s give him another chance to decimate democracy.
Yeah, unfortunate because all that information could easily move here if Reddit users stopped feeding the machine. The site is being blocked intermittently for numerous VPN users, using Proton, Mullvad, Nord etc. They say it’s a code error but it’s clearly trying to force people to use their crappy app, or login with no privacy.
Reddit gets shittier by the day. Currently, they’re blocking users using a VPN, they’re trying to force you to either login to read, or to stop using a VPN so they can have even more of your data. Reddit should be burned to the ground, it’s a data-harvesting cesspool, run by a bunch of greedy dickheads. I wish everyone would wake up and leave at the same time, destroy their IPO.
I was referring to the upcoming U.S. election.
They want to make money while turning reddit into another right wing shit hole.
I personally don’t find it a problem but I think it may lose a lot of users who are simply too impatient to fill out the questionnaire and then wait to see if they were approved.
And what is $200K to amazon, it’s not even pocket change to them, it’s the lint in their pockets, won’t hurt them in the slightest.
