The oppressed do not owe the oppressors civility or safety. Israel is an apartheid colonial state and the people they’ve been oppressing for 70 years have every right to take up arms.

We had been aware and plugged in for a while, but that was certainly a big indicator that it had reached critical mass. If two randos with regular jobs could figure it out, the feds definitely knew at some level.

Her activity as a prosecutor. A particular standout for me was prosecuting lower income parents of color for school absenteeism. While I firmly believe children should be educated, I don’t think throwing overworked low income parents in jail is going to help keep those children in school, well supervised, and ultimately safe.

This will likely be the first year I won’t be voting. I moved to a state with no early voting, and it’s all in person. Additionally, I’m in a blue city with a red state government, so voting locations are minimal, and my job only allows 2 hours to vote. I don’t really see it happening.

Not compromising with fascists is a good quality to have as well.

This idea that any criticism of her is invalid and just misogyny/racism is bullshit. She is a very flawed candidate, ESPECIALLY for people of color.
