While the #1 seed is absolutely desired for the Bye, the NFC playoffs are going to be rough this year. SF with a healthy Purdy routinely hang up 30+ pts, even on elite defenses, while the defense is still stacked. The Eagles have a great DL, and an automatic play in short yardage situations. The Cowboys are also pretty stacked from a roster standpoint, and only really held back by their QB enjoying critical TDs or Coach not helping him enough. None of that includes a budding Detroit team that also has a very strong offense, and could certainly knock off one of the above teams.

Could have had it, but Buffalo isn’t winning anything if McDerm is going to call the defense like the last 2 drives. Absurdly soft coverage, especially on that OT drive.
