Honestly I wouldn’t have been banned from the site but once I was permabanned from a subreddit I bitched out the mods and call them subhuman, less than worthless and pigs lol. I kind of wanted to be banned at this point so I can be on the other side of reddit.

True. I never “trusted” big tech. But I was kind of taken aback at how quickly they began banning people for the stupidest of offenses.

I agree. It’s basically a cross between Facebook and Quora now with even more authoritarian moderation. I think the next “reddit” will also be something different. I just wish more people would check out the alternatives and I wish the people designing the alternates (raddle, squabbles) were a little bit less esoteric so that they were easier to adopt.

Thanks. You’re right. I don’t have much of an option since I got the 7 day ban for calling the mods “pigs” and “cowards” for permabanning me from a subreddit. I need to touch grass, delete that account so Spez has less numbers, and then build up stuff on here.

Basically, Reddit will become a hollow corporate piece of shit like Quora or Facebook so the deluded pigs can buy “shares of reddit” completely not understanding how it’s the worst investment imaginable. One of these alternatives will eventually rise up because of dedicated mods and people like us, then the mindless normies who are still chained to reddit will find out about us and migrate there, but it IS KEY THAT FILTH THAT RUINED REDDIT never be allowed to have any power on the new site.

I understand how they feel because the people who destroyed reddit won’t be punished as individuals. It would be so nice if the whole website was just destroyed. And the ghouls who migrate here banned forever.
