It could be that you have too many other apps in the background, and Android is essentially freeing up memory for other processes. If you have too many tabs open this could also occur. You could also have your battery saving options too aggressive, which also clears data from background apps. I’d look up something like “how to keep Android from stopping apps in the background” or something similar.

Its what people who think they’re clever use as a word for people who are autistic. The “joke” is that autistic sounds like artistic, thus calling them painters like a coward.

But one of the worst for everything else it tries to be or people try to use it for, like help forums. It’s a black hole for information. They’ve taken steps to mitigate that, but it remains a half-baked solution.

No one is preventing people who have Facebook or Instagram accounts from joining the fediverse by blocking Meta. What they are doing, is preemptively taking action to ensure an immoral company doesn’t do exactly what it has shown itself to be in it’s nature to do.
