That’s part of the process for the heat rubs. As far as I understand, it acts as an irritant to the skin tissue above the sore area, diverting focus and masking symptoms so you can relax your body a bit.
Sort of the same effect as fixing an itchy bug bite by pressing your fingernail into it. The itch receptors get backtracked and the brain focuses on the new pain. Maybe. Or it focuses on both equally and makes everything worse.
I started a physically demanding job after a period of inactivity. This post was inspired by real life events.
Fair. It’s not going to be made mandatory, and it’s not going to be every post, but I’ll give it a go. Why not.

I had a dream this morning that I had a sweet summer fling with the guy that played Wilson on House MD? He really loved me, and my actual real life husband was supportive but very confused in the dream. Then it turned into a variety show/dance review and I’m never going to be able to watch House again.
Maybe not the worst, but very timely.
I have a weiner dog who will only pee on grass. Tarp goes down, snow falls, tarp comes off, happy dog. He also has his own couch. He’s got me trained rather well.
Happy cake day!
