I think you could create great propoganda on youtube etc but youd need to be an actual well read communist and not a intellectually unserious grifter like almost every youtube “leftist”. You see it all the time with people like second thought who have to make surface level videos so they can maintain a wide viewer base for the sake of profit. The best example of good leftist content i can remember was a channel called halim alrah, thats the introductory level communsists should be aiming for , not pulling punches but still approachable

I agree thats why, but i still think you should maybe be keeping your strongest communists from dying, theres a reason princes did not often lead their armies into battle, the princes of the soviet union were the smart young cadres. I suppose they felt it necessary in the face of existiential danger of their country, and i empathise with that feeling, but i think keeping 1000 cadres away from the war to study as hard as possible so they could lead the restoration wouldnt have changed the outcome of the war probably

the fact that kruschev came to power shows us that the party was completely degraded. It is clear that the party absolutely and completely failed to raise a new generation of quality communists, in no small part to ww2 killing 27 million soviets, but honestly im not willing to give them slack, if they had put significant resources into elevating women into future leaders they would have definitly been able to put quality communists in charge.

the question regarded ethics, in this case i think the correct ethical thing to do is inform them. As an aside i dont think i support concealed carry, if someone is carrying a weapon capable of killing multiple people i think that should be declared so people know to stay away from them

generally i think the correct time is in the ad (“i am renting a room in my flat for co habitation”)

just because youre hiding the power dynamic doesnt mean there isnt one there.

If my flatmate was my landlord that would wildly change how i would behave towards them out of self preservation.

youre depriving them of the oppurtunity to act caustiously towards you because youre ‘chill, trust me’ and you dont want them on their gaurd even though they should be on their gaurd, because you weild the power to make them homeless
