Heat Signature. Top down stealth shooter but gameplay’s more puzzle. With some rouge-lite stuff going on. I keep coming back because it’s so pick-upable. There’s absolutely nothing between “start new game” and picking your mission. Nothing at all to disrupt your gameplay for a scene you’ve seen 10 times before etc, just you and a nebula full of fantastic emergent gameplay.

You migh get a mission where you need to assassinate a dude, for example. Maybe you bring your assault rifle and execute everyone with impunity. Maybe you stealth through with a wrench, clubbing fools down before murdering your target. Maybe you bring a cloaking device and sneak through the ship, leaving no sign, 'till you deploy a trap that will teleport your target into space. Maybe you steal his whole ship and turn him over for the client to deal with. Maybe you steal a completely different ship and fire into your target’s ship 'till he’s killed.

Love it.

No matter how much I love Shadow of War (and it’s a lot). I can’t imagine risking buying anything from WB after they pulled their tax write-off shenanigans with Final Space.
