Hey, thanks for the post!
Having received religious education (Catholicism) as a child, divine simplicity was not mentioned, at least not explicitly or to its greatest extent. I only learned it recently through Islamic philosophy.
My language contains words that are in their essence either masculine or feminine. However while God is referred to as He, the usage of this pronoun, as the religion teachers told us, is simply for “convenience” (this made more sense when I was a kid) but God has no gender.
Once the week is over I will go back to normal :)

I shouldn’t be shocked that these have raked thousands of upvotes, but I am.
I’m not joking when I tell you that I saved it on up to five devices including phones, PCs, flash drives and and a cloud service.
Gotta out-nazi the nazi
Lesson learned successfully.
De Beauvoir? Not Western biased? Her writings are very orientalistic (though besides that, she’s alright).
Although I am of the opinion of the other commentor, there are two books on my mind: Utopia by Thomas More (an easy and not too theoretical read) and Political Philosophy of Bakunin (a selection of some of his writings).
More obvious ones are Rousseau, Hobbes and Locke.
By beginner, you mean secondary sources that introduce you to the discipline in general?
Ok I will see. As I said, the laptop doesn’t have a HDD but an eMMC soldered on the motherboard.
No luck today finding a store that can repair it. Will see next week, but I pretty much lost hope and began writing all over again. fml.
You’re right. I have both local and online options so I maximise the chances of file safety but my work is the only thing I didn’t make a recent backup thereof, even though it’s the easiest thing to backup out of my files.
Laptop stopped working, it reeks of burned smell. I don’t know if extracting the data is even an option since the device has no HDD but instead a tiny chip soldered onto the motherboard.
It’s completely my fault, I should’ve known better.
Please do! Better be safe than sorry.
It’s funny (or tragic?) because I have syncthing and did not bother sync my work. Only thought about it in retrospect.
You can contribute monetarily, check https://join-lemmy.org
It’s even harder the second time… I should stick to ink and paper.
Lmao that’s funny, and I’m glad that my list was helpful!
