I’m not interested in any backdoors right now but wanted to learn some more about who can prescribe it and if anyone has had any positive or negative experiences with it relating to ADHD specifically. I’ve seen it has a lot of promise for things like PTSD, anxiety, and depression but didn’t know what, if any, known benefits are for ADHD.

Yeah I definitely think the research is still lacking. I appreciate you taking the time to provide some feedback. I’ll keep talking to my doctor but was looking into alternatives because I’ve tried several non simulants and simulants with little benefit other than my current one. The non stimulants seemed to not have any effect, even after trying them for about 4 months. The other stimulants still made my heart rate increase and one gave me the jitters but my current one has actually provided a lot of the benefits with the hassle to get it and the increased heart rate being the big down sides.

Good luck. Hope you like it. I never really used Twitter because I felt like it was hard to figure out how to use it to see interesting stuff in your feed. Then I tried Mastodon and had about the same experience. Not sure how it is now, but I tried a few months ago (maybe January or something) and there wasn’t a ton of activity so it was stale after a few wks using it and I gave it up.

I’ve like Lemmy a lot better but I think that’s because I always liked Reddit better.

I think podcasts, like music, should be separate from the hosting platforms. I do listen to podcasts but I’m not choosing my streaming service based on podcast. If it’s not on Spotify or YouTube, I’m not gonna listen to it. I wish companies could thrive without having to continuously grow/expand so they didn’t have to take these risks which end up harming user experience.

I grew up in central Florida so I’ve been lucky in having access to the local coasters. I’ve also been to several other theme parks on the east coast. All that to say, I’ve had my fair share of experiences on roller coasters. Hagrid’s is still the best and most unique ride I’ve been on in my life.

Yes. We need the smaller vehicles but variety across the board as well. I’m perfectly happy with my EV6 but realize it’s not the right price point or size/style for everyone.

There’s so much to learn tho. I tried Mastodon a few months back and it was just overwhelming in a sense. Now I’m seeing here that Mastodon and Lemmy can talk to each other? Sounds interesting, but another thing to look up.
