Communications is obviously an important part of the job. Nancy was clearly completely incompetent in that area. At any time she could have hired professionals to do it for her. She chose not to. At any time she could have chosen the most talented members of her caucus to take the lead on messaging, let them devise a strategy and coordinate efforts and make a powerful campaign. It is hard to imagine a worse House Speaker.

We can debate how easy/hard it is to do propaganda, but the fact is that Nancy didn’t even try. She literally made no effort. She had tons of money. She had all the people she needed. She had a huge platform, and she utterly failed to produce any results. In fact almost everything she did was extremely counterproductive.

All the the info posted is common knowledge. It was all in the main media sources at the time. Most of it could be easily verified on Wikipedia in a few minutes. Do you doubt that House Dems won the 2006 election?
