You’re being down voted because of the populace of this group, not because you’re wrong. I’ll agree that Republicans are much more likely to take away WIC, but they’re certainly not the only party responsible for the government shut down.

The government has gone through shut downs under every president, usually because the majority party has issues with decisions made when they were the minority. As someone who’s worked in the government arena for 30+ years, it’s never one party. As the saying goes, it takes two to tango. That’s why I find the angst and malice of diehard political followers amusing and depressing. There’s no such thing as a “good” party. Just which one pushes your agenda the most.
