For me, the X270 ist the sweet spot: it is small and portable and has a acceptable battery( in fact 2 of them). The display is usable and comes in full HD. 720p is a little bit too low for my tastes. You can upgrade the RAM and put an m.2 ssd inside(although only with 2x PCIe bandwidth). You can also charge it with USB-C. With an i5 it goes for around 200€ in Germany. US prices are usually lower.

Das Problem mit Selbsttest ist, dass es nicht nur ein Problem gibt. Zuerst wäre da die Materialgewinnung. Alles was unangenehm ist wird normalerweise vermieden oder tendenziell falsch gemacht. Das fängt mit Nasenabstrichen an, die nicht tief oder gründlich genug gemacht werden. Bei Urin wird nicht Morgenurin, sondern Spontanurin genommen. Der Unterschied ist ohne Hintergrundwissen nicht unbedingt klar. Blutgewinnung ist sowieso schwierig. Die kapilläre Gewinnung aus der Fingerbeere ist nicht unbedingt kompliziert, bietet aber dich einige Fallstricke. Beispielsweise schlechte Durchblutung der Hände nach dem Rauchen oder zu dolles Drücken oder oder oder. Dann kommen wir zur Messung an sich: wenn das Material in einem weiteren Schritt verbereitet werden muss, kann dort auch wieder viel schief gehen, was man als nicht ausgebildeter Mensch nicht unbedingt merkt oder übersieht: wie groß ist eigentlich „ein Tropfen“? Macht es etwas aus wenn das Messkit in der prallen Sonne steht? Etc. Einwirkungs und Ablesezeiten werden ofmals ignoriert. Die integrierte Kontrolle wird nicht verstanden und das Ergebnis falsch abgelesen. Wenn bis hierhin alles gut gelaufen ist, fehlt noch die Interpretation des Ergebnisses. Das ist bis auf ein paar Ausnahmen nicht trivial. Es muss IMMER im Kontext gesehen werden. ZB sagt ein schwangerschaftstest nichts darüber aus, ob du von dem Sex letzte Woche schwanger geworden bist. Oder der Covid Antigentest sagt vielleicht, ob du infiziert bis, aber nicht ob du es NICHT bist. Selbst wenn man einen Selbsttest bauen kann, heißt das noch nicht dass er Sinn macht bzw in der Masse hilft.

Möglich. Aber ich sehe das nicht bis zur nächsten Bundestagswahl. Da ist zuviel passiert, als das mit einem schnellen Bekenntnis hinzubiegen wäre. Vielleicht übernächste Wahl, wenn sich das wieder glaubhaft zurechtgerückt hat.

Och würde es als einen Lichthof um kleine Lichtquellen beschreiben. So als wären die in einem leichten Nebel. Wie gesagt, es ist so leicht, dass ich beispielsweise absolut keine Probleme mit Autofahren im dunkeln oder so habe.

Ich hab meine mit unter -5 Dioptrien vor 8 Jahren lasern lassen. Bisher musste nicht nachgebessert werden. Würde ich aber jederzeit wieder machen. OP ist schmerzlos und du bekommst auch ohne Narkose nicht wirklich mit was die da machen. Ca eine Stunde nach der OP schwellen erstmal deine Augen zu. Ich hab mich dann ins Bett gelegt und 10h später war es wieder abgeschwollen. 1-3 Monate hast du ständig das Gefühl von trockenen Augen und bist wie verrückt am Tropfen. Das wars aber eigentlich schon.

You are correct, PLA is per definition food safe. The problems you mention are also correct. There are two other major problems: There can be residues from other prints in your printer which contaminates your prints. The manufacturer does not label their filament as food safe. There are no list of additives which could be harmful.

There are ways around some of the problems like smoothing with heat or chemicals. Most of the time it is no major concern. Containers for cutlery? No problem as long you are not selling them. Container for food itself like lunch boxes? This is something I personally would not risk. Lids for containers with no direct contact to the food? I think you should be alright. Just don‘t do it commercially.

Thanks for your work and don’t push yourself too far. I‘d prefer a good and carefully written app in a few months over an unstable und hasty written on in a few weeks.

At least Mlem, the app for iOS is explicitly compatible to all accessibility functions in iOS. They wrote in their latest changelog that they have someone auditing their app to be compatible with this stuff.

There is the Sovol SV07 for about 300€-ish. It comes with Klipper and should check all your boxes. I bought the SV06 Plus two months ago it works OK. You have to tighten all the screws and actually read the manual, but that’s it. If you want a guaranteed problem free OOTB experience, you have to buy Prusa (top quality control and software) or Bambulab (not really hackable but runs well) for 600-800€.
