My account turns 11 on August 11th… lurking 2-3 years prior. As soon as the news was dropped about API changes I came over here and switched between the two. Stopped using reddit overall once my app wasn’t supported. I miss my small communities and the news from my city but I can’t continue to support it

Nope! While lemmy is still missing a lot of things, such as large amounts of text posts and comments, and smaller communities, I’ve found other ways to fill the gaps. I browsed nosleep a lot and have found some nice series’, but that won’t make me go back. Also Tumblr exists to fill the smaller community gaps

Agreed on r/mylittlepony. I’ve got a couple of my niche subs that I really enjoyed and idk where they’re gonna end up going. I’m pretty sure r/furry is on here somewhere, but still trying to figure things out The others though, r/GODZILLA and r/miata (and other car subs) I’d like to go back to. They were my little areas I felt comfortable posting to (and had content for)
