Yeah agree it has to be done with a whole plan approach so that it runs seemlessly for the motorised user. As for the pedestrians in your comment I was more looking at separating the walker from the escooter world because they just don’t gel well together. So if a pedestrian can walk and not fear being knocked over by someone on a motorised vehicle then all the better.

Also In the inner city area of Brissy, why couldn’t we look at closing a lane (one way traffic) and using the acquired space for people to use with bikes/ebikes/escooters etc. It separates foot traffic from motorised. Obviously these choices of lanes would be strategically chosen for best bang for buck.

Thanks for your reply. Although the slides above show a division within Ukraine caused by his history etc. This was ostensibly one country going to war against another for the should purpose it seems to occupy.

In the case of the Israel/Palestine conflict, this was basically a terrorist group attacking Israel and now Israel retaliating over and above what should be considered acceptable.

So why wouldn’t China be more or at least just as vocal in calling for a cease fire and return to normality. Which was the basis of my original question.

Quick answer I don’t know. But there is a chance that the adaptor is limiting it’s rate to a level that allows it to ‘link’/communicate without error. I am thinking at it’s full rate it is running into far too many errors to be useful. In this case it could definitely be an issue with the cable or other devices, in the vicinity.

Yeah I see what your saying and COVID did test us like never before but;

-We had a nation blatantly allow their citizens to spread throughout the world (I assume because they were not wanting to admit they had a problem).

-We had a somewhat coordinated effort (but was thwarted due to political gain/manouevering in a lot of countries).

-I think the selfishness, at least in my country started pretty much straight away. And made it harder the whole way through.

These points above, in my mind were enough to show me that we really can’t together when it counts. Another example is global climate change, we are staring that in the face and we still can’t get it together.

I imagine seeing on the news NEWSFLASH: Aliens have arrived and seem threatening… We wold have;

-One country trying to make friends with said aliens to gain an upper hand.

-Another country trying to be the worlds hero and go it alone by attacking them.

-Governments quickly trying to take their chance at gaining their last bit of control by clamping down on citizens.

-Nations trying to help themselves only and foregoing other nations (eg. Yeah nuke that nation to save ours)

I had this discussion with my work colleagues before COVID was a thing. I asked the question along the lines of “If aliens were to come to earth and pose an existential threat could you see the world uniting as one”

This always annoys me. How can a device you have purchased outright with certain functionality, have the terms of service changed after the point of purchase which then changes that usage of the device.

This seems like you could return for refund as the device is NOW not what you originally purchased.

Where does this end? We buy a car then 5yrs later they change the terms of service and if you don’t agree you don’t get the right to have tires on your car.
