Dude in the orange attempted to rob them with mace. As he walks up you can see him grab something out of his pocket then put it in dudes face. Later you can see him spraying it at dude but he’s standing too far away.

Looks like dude in the orange saw dude proposing and often times proposals come with a fancy expensive ring. Clearly an easy mark. As the orange guy walks up, you can see him pull mace out of his pocket which he then sprays in dudes face at a close range. However, instead of being incapacitated, proposal dude clearly has a strong paradoxical reaction to the mace and becomes the pure embodiment of rage in physical form. This proves to be problematic to the man in orange.

I’d probably go back to bed because I’m clearly still dreaming. If that doesn’t work then I’d probably just take my guns and archery stuff and barricade myself in my large windowless shop that only has one door, is sound proof, and made of steel and get some sleep in there.

If I wake up and the zombies are still real then at least I can probably drill some peep holes in the walls and fashion something that resembles a sword or a halberd or something. Maybe something like a riot shield? I do have a fairly decent airgun and that’s pretty quiet and allegedly strong enough to hunt deer with so I might be set without having to actually build weapons.

I have plenty of animal traps and water filters and I live quite close to a forest with running water going through it so I won’t be getting hungry or thirsty anytime soon.

I know this is a very unpopular opinion here, but if the Republican party was actually Republican I would be voting for them in a heartbeat. The real thing would look so much like communism that it would be ridiculous. What we really have here is the conservative/fascist party vs the statis quo party.

Republicans used to be pro union/worker’s rights, minimal government overreach on the CIVILIANS, they’re supposed to be all about what would help their voters have a good life… My app will crash and I’ll loose this if I double check, but I remember reading that welfare and food assistance were republican ideas (could be wrong). Now it’s all about christofascism and melanin content, jerking off the corpos who displayed the biggest wallet. None of those things actually help their voters in any way whatsoever and the title of being Republican really doesn’t fit anymore. It’s really fucking disgusting and an international embarrassment what they’ve turned the party into.

In America, all money is government property. While I’ve never even once heard of it being enforced, it’s supposed to be some kind of huge federal offense to intentionally deface it.

But yes, under capitalism we get so little money over such hard work. Then mostly everyone is cashless… And you rarely ever see actual money unless you’re in like a cash handling industry. So the cold yet mighty dollar might as well be a religious artifact.

At least it answers our prayers. Usually with a no but at least it’s an answer.

Oh yeah that’s a pretty solid benefit right there. I swear the oddest things will block them from cutting. I didn’t even consider the smoke diffusing the beam.

Like the most powerful laser I’ve used won’t cut through a paper sticker or even the residue but it’ll cut through .75" steel like it’s nothing.

The optics is a big deal too. On the big ones everything is pretty reasonably sized and they’re still a pain to clean. I can’t imagine what it’s like with those tiny ones. Also, those larger lasers lenses are really commonly coated in thorium and a speck gets on there it’s going to superheat and vaporize a lot of the lense. Pretty damn dangerous to be around lol!

I don’t know about these lower power lasers so I may be wrong. With the lasers I’ve used (200-2000W), the air/oxygen is used to create a superheated jacket of gas around the laser which allows it to cut a nice smooth edge. It also has the added benefit of blowing away the slag/dross that’s created.

When we cut more temperature sensitive materials like aluminum and stainless we use nitrogen, which cools the material. This creates a pretty jagged deal with the dross that you gotta sand off but it prevents blowouts and really creates a nice edge if you get the pressure dialed in just right.
