Disproven many times over.
You can’t sell the free generated Steam keys on other platforms lower than on Steam. You are perfectly free to sell the game on other platforms for less than Steam.

None of that stuff sounds like Valve interfering.
Thats not what they said, “More efficient” didn’t happen.
Just either a wildly more toxic environment with Epic, or a cheaper but much less user friendly one with GOG.
Steam didn’t need to change because neither of the competition understand the market.
A private company getting private investment? I would expect that there are plenty of string attached to improve, otherwise it’ll be nationalised and the investors will lose their money.
If not, then it’s just a slight delay for 6 months until they run out of cash again.
I fucking loved Willy’s Wonderland.
Who the hell doesn’t love Nicolas Cage?
I know plently of straight people who haven’t been in a proper long term relationship for 15 years.
Dating fucking sucks these days.
What’s that got to do with being gay?
I don’t understand how anyone can support Farage
Mr Farage’s trip was paid for by Christopher Harborne, a British tech investor based in Thailand.
It’s a guy who wants to interfere with international politics. He probably doesn’t believe in Farages politics, but he doesn’t live here so he doesn’t care. He just knows that Farage would give him a sweet deal, or the Tories would to try and gain his vote. £30k is the cost of making another million.

In November 2022, Harborne donated £1 million to The Office of Boris Johnson Ltd, one of the biggest donations ever made to an individual British politician.[
He’s scum.
I had this issue with Reddit. You need a lot of houses, making some available doesn’t fix the issue with the vast majority.
And thats fine. I’m just letting you know how I feel about this.
Banning short term rentals is one thing, but can we please at least request that hotels fill the gap that this creates?
Yes they did get a cast from other Asian countries to represent Koreans, however I think that most issues we would have were due to ham fisted producers who didn’t “get it”.
It improved significantly over the years, and although retrospectively it might seem racist, compared to the other shows listed it was fairly progressive.
Don’t watch it now. Don’t watch it as a progressive piece of programming, you will only be disappointed as its over 50 years old, and it was battling stereotypes of over half a century ago.
And yet even now its far more progressive than most Republicans.
Although we are referring to the TV show that Alan Alder managed to get boomer to loath due to being so “PC”.
I wouldn’t visit.
I have two children, and the number of hotels where I can get joining rooms so I dont have to actually share with them is basically zero.
We can, but very few people own a second, let along a third or fourth.
Either they are landlords and running it through a business, and how do you prevent a business from owning two locations?
Sorry Londis, you can only have one store because you have a flat upstairs?
Or they own them privately, and in this country its massively overstated. Presumably to try and start a bit of class warfare, but folks see US news and think it applies here.
Fucking Tories, making the crabs pull everyone back into the bucket when there really aren’t that many. Even Shelter doesn’t call it out as a problem, compared to the many other things we could do to help.
We’re only short by about a million. That’ll fix the problem!
So these could be houses that people don’t actually want to live in? Maybe because work isn’t there, or the cost of repair too high?
I remember some of those houses, as I was in Wavertree near the Botanic Gardens, Matalan and the burnt down pubs around 2000 and you couldn’t give away some homes just a bit further down Picton.
MASH was an anti-war, anti-violance, anti-racist show.
Its not like the others on the list.
How is learning C++ and QT not programming?
While this is true, learning some kind of programming - shell scripting or BASIC in olden days - is a very useful endeavor.
And learning sewing is useful, but I dont need it to wear clothes.
Yeah, not sure what’s going on but I had to open the archive link in a browser and do a hard refresh.
You said
But now you are saying that they didn’t challenge the monopoly? If they dont even challenge then how are they competition?
Steam let’s me buy games and play them. The interface with Big Picture Mode let’s me interact with the store.
The issue I see is that no one is competing on PC with Steam because they keep trying to tie themselves with the fucking trainwreck that’s Windows.
They keep trying to tie themselves with shitty desktop launchers.
They keep trying to tie themselves with toxic customer service.
There is competition, but it’s with Sony, Microsoft and their consoles.
