Avatar is a lemming in bed because this account wasn’t intended to be used except for creating communities… and then my instance announced it was closing.
Usually just remember stuff. I’m terrible at taking notes - I either forget to take any paper/pen or I don’t know what’s important and don’t make any notes.
If I get an action item I’ll write it down or stick it somewhere on my work phone. It probably won’t make much sense so I’ll need to remember what it was about anyway - it just serves as a reminder that I need to do something.
At my first job somebody showed me a system that I needed to use, step by step, for a task that I needed to do to cover them the next week. I took no notes (didn’t even occur to me), she was surprised that I took no notes, but I remembered it all and did the task.
I’m not sure my memory is quite good enough to trust these days, but back then it worked fine.
The fact there’s an entire penis section… No. Just no.
Older (and cheaper) ones have an analogue dial. More modern ones have a digital timer.
Bookwyrm if you want something Fediverse.
Storygraph I think is the other popular one (I’ve not used it)
The only thing I’m really missing is a way to do cross posts, and maybe mod actions.
Other than that and a few little quirks I can work around (would be nice to get autocomplete for communities and users), it’s pretty much perfect!
Merry Christmas!

tbf there was an update not that long ago…
You need to put the domain user in the local administrators group. Easiest way to do this is through the Computer Management MMC snap-in.
It’ll give full admin rights over the local computer though - You can’t just give admin rights to one program AFAIK.
Big fan of Tutti Frutti, Squirm, Rockman, Fingers Malone, Big Mac.
I think 90% of what I played on the C16 was Mastertronic by either Shaun Southern or Tony Kelly.
Oh come on, this is adorable!

Ah, that’s the clue I needed.

Think that instance is dead though.
I’m sure there’s a community for nonsense TV/film hacking/Linux screens. I can’t remember what it’s called.
Yes, fair enough. I think the ones which are designed to go in on the microwave are designed so the eyes don’t get hot though!
The eyes generally just explode. /jk No, they don’t get hot because they don’t contain any moisture.
I should put a caveat in here: if your stuffed animal says to remove the bag and microwave it separately, remove the bag and microwave it separately. Also, don’t put a stuffed animal in the air fryer.
We have lots of these. Our sloth definitely goes all in.
Basically anything made by Warmies won’t have a removable bag, everything else will (in my experience).
A lot of the Sainsbury’s ones appear to be made by Warmies. They don’t have removable bags - just stick the entire critter in.
gf’s daughter drinks tea, but it’s pretty much unrecognisable as such. Half a pack of sugar, litres of milk and the teabag barely even gets a look in.
