It’s not gonna win anything and we shouldn’t act like it will.
Still, no reason not to be correct about it. He’s gonna try and make his delusions national news, so, gotta have the reality out there.
Mind the shavings

Yeah, people who act like it could never be funny are insufferable and people who actually do it are psychos.
It would be so easy to leave them alone.
This feels like the influence of some drug or other but I couldn’t say which one.
Crying children. It’s gross but it’s also just sad.
Musk and other bad-news big tech dweebs want to end the concept of countries altogether.
If they get good enough AI and drones on their side, they might legitimately be able to take down a major military.
It’s not even selfish. It bites the people who fight for it in a thousand different ways.
It’s just silly. If they were any good at being selfish, they’d want people to have healthcare, because everybody else’s shit makes your world better or worse regardless of your money or whether you acknowledge it.
Suck that strong conservative ladydick, fellas 🇺🇸 🇺🇸
I don’t know about “with any value”. I think he just thinks he’s the only person. And the other people are…something else. Like people, but not.
By a thin margin, yes.
And only because “non-engagement” can’t run.
Americans very much almost didn’t vote him in. Also a fact, and it paints a very different picture.
I really hope you’re right about them not being able to do their jobs. That is its own kind of disaster of course, but one that’s far better than the proactive, aggressive, needless harm I’m thinking they could be ramping up for.
Taliban has made their country shittier than republicans have made america and god dammit they’re not losing that battle anymore.
You can’t do it and be right, but you can do it and be dumb and wrong.
Change that to take over the Democratic party and you got a good idea.
The US widget buyers in the fantasy scenario are 100% not getting fucked by tariffs, because–again, fantasy scenario–their dollars are not supporting slavery, wage slavery, or some unjustifiable bullshit that’s barely technically not wage slavery. Gutting economic opportunities for bad actors that exploit labor is a win for everybody, and claiming otherwise is evidence of a misunderstanding born of too narrow a scope.
Basically, if I save a buck by poisoning my town’s water, I haven’t won.
That aside, I loved reading this. I already kind of knew it but your version made me know it better. Thanks for writing it.
Kids understand in about two seconds. Effortlessly.
If guns had a function besides murder, that would be a bad argument, but they don’t. Defense is just the threat of murder.
Shooting at the range for fun, I suppose, but if people are actually serious about that they’d want to store their guns there because there’s no need for them anywhere else.
Yeah, Greenland
It’s complicated. Tl;dr: they’re both true.
The patterns of behavior between shareholders, boards of directors, and executives is what’s killing people. The same role can be re-cast with different actors.
It’s not that CEOs need to die, it’s that that larger pattern of behavior that gets rich by killing people needs to end. Maybe this spooks other people who are part of that larger pattern into stopping, maybe it makes them do it more, stealthier, and with bodyguards. It’s hard to say.
At the very least, we should all jump at every chance to help things without hurting anybody, wherever we do find it. “Necessary violence” comes with a big ol heap of plausible deniability, and it’s a pretty big ask for somebody to handle it responsibly.
The justification will be alluring even in circumstances where it is not legitimate.
