5·15 days agoGemini, Perplexity, Poe. Creating a Selenium script isn’t that hard for them. You can try running your own, but it’s more less likely that it will produce good results. Best coder LLM I’ve seen out there for hosting is Yi Coder 9B.
It needs a driver and the web-browser to be executed in headless mode. For Chrome that’s chrome-driver. You can get it here.
To make a script for it, I recommend talking to a LLM. I have asked it to build scrapers before, so it does the job.

26·16 days agoPeople are not assholes just because they’re anonymous. They’re assholes because they’re sociopaths. The Internet still is the refuge for isolation and escapism. I don’t think that will change, but maybe those people will be happier in the future.
I think the gaming community being made of socially awkward, isolated and unemployed people doesn’t help the scenario. But I think there is light at the end of the tunnel.

3·18 days agoI’ve also run into this when trying to program in Rust. It just says that the newest features don’t exist and keeps rolling back to an unsupported library.
I understand that it makes less sense to spend in model size if it isn’t giving back performance, but why would so much money be spent on larger LLMs then?

3·18 days agoI think trying to implement Laws in Nature is more a thing of the Past than the Present. We’re on a period of careful analysis of scientific evidence. I don’t think you’ll be able to implement Laws of Nature.

Como medir a “eficiência” de uma secretária ou recepcionista sem a percepção humana de cada caso, por exemplo? Não tem como. Isso é absurdo.

Apparently, BlackMeta is behind the DDoS attack to the Internet Archive. Apparently they are pro-Palestine hacktivists - their X account also has some russian written in it.
(Edit) Also, Internet Archive is banned on China since 2012 and Russia since 2015.
I think it’s funny you call people dense when in fact they see the difference with their own eyes. Like a small business owner is making less money and people try to convince him that it has nothing to do with the elected government. I don’t think Fubar is the dense one here at all.
