Schildi Chat is probably the best client I have spotted, full voice and video chat functionality in browser. People do way less hemming and hawing about downloading an app if they’ve already been able to try it out in web - just like discord

ok and to be fair one of them is pretty funny
okbuddycapitalist has 2 posts
🤔 Well until I check that he is neither alive nor dead in superposition
if there was any consistency to zizek and other “psychoanalysts” they would come up with a convoluted explanation for the psychological condition that causes leftists (hopefully meaning people interested in decolonization and antiimperialism) to delude themselves into thinking zizek and the onion are on their side, but not the leaders of the few countries in the world supporting the palestinian struggle for liberation
perhaps you don’t believe there is any revolutionary potential in iran and it’s better off a crumpled up state like libya, where pure leftism can finally emerge from the ashes. i like seeing people slosh around from third worldism to anarchism and other stuff searching for an explanation of why they found a based way to agree with neocons so i’d love to hear it
Because internet commentators want to pass off their uninformed xenophobia as advocacy for democracy and the people of countries they despise and want to undermine the national interest of. For instance Ken Klippenstein referred to the Iranian President as an authoritarian dictator.
You too. While you’re out there, don’t go implying people who aren’t cheering on an elected leader’s death are opposed to reform of the system that elected them, implicitly. Especially when that leader has done more than you ever will for Palestine.
See, and there you go acting cute about it. We all know what you’re implying in this discussion of the guy dying in a fireball. Get outta here
and here you see the bailey of the motte and bailey strategy to defend regime change talking points. he’s no longer a leader he’s an “authoritarian dictator” a completely meaningless term which is only used to paint targets on the enemies of the west
you are just playing the good cop.
How’s the anti-terrorist operation in Donbas going, champ? Oh, half the Ukrainian army left to fight for the RuZZian terrorists?! Yikes, better call Lindsay Graham, Amy Klobuchar, John McCain, and Victoria Nuland, the real architects of the plan. I’m sure the West’s limitless arsenal and money will be able to support Ukraine against those dirty bydlo vatniks, heh heh. After all, haven’t you seen all those videos on reddit of their crazy shit falling apart? This is gonna be a piece of cake.
you didn’t even know this guy was elected, did you?
hitler and raeisi and bin laden are so different they would make good candidates for some kind of tripartite “types of loamy soil” diagram. you’re making a horrible analogy and you should feel bad
Yeah, if anyone wants to do an effortpost explaining why I’m wrong to be uneasy about the death of a major leader of one of the few countries materially supporting the anti-imperialist struggle and a key partner for china and russia in the middle east, a country which has tenuous political gains being made with saudi arabia that further minimize the possibility of normalization with israel, i’m open to it. haven’t seen anything like that in that thread
personally my default reaction ranges from yikes to check the helicopter dept for CIA
probably best reddit debunker-tier take is sanctions killed him via shitty helicopter parts. there are concrete steps that iran can take there to prevent this.
i’m guessing this helicopter flight was the only practical way to get to some mountain location and not just a joyride. they even have uber for helicopters here and in LA which is so stupid
not white enough
muslim
peripheral country
muh dictators
arab spring essentialism
ignorance of geopolitical struggle
Why did you mourn Matt Christman when he never did anything other than do drugs and rant on podcasts? Not to echo the contemptible Drew Pavlou…
Maybe, before I just read it like you were taking everyone reflecting on the timing of this and Iran’s unusual place as a reactionary govt put in a broadly progressive position in the international struggle, especially the decolonization of Palestine, as making a knee jerk reactions here. Especially with the way you’re casually feeling out how amenable this chat is going to be to Iran regime change posting today. (Genocide’s still going, try again later.)
I would imagine people are disturbed by this because he was a man who many see as an ally in the Palestinian struggle for decolonization even if they disagree with him on hundreds if not thousands of points which would be deemed heretical in Iran.
lol protecting the rich from jet tracking… of course
That an interesting way of looking at it. If you can find any purity argument for why a politician wasn’t progressive (he wasn’t btw) then it’s a good thing for them to just go up in a fireball. Politics by process of elimination! Say, Yemenis invited Jackson Hinkle to a Zoom conference. Maybe they should go die, too, because they’re more backward than you and the removeds got to them first! Hell, my favorite Burkina Faso reporting account randomly veers into Christian grimposting about gay people (me).
Just ignore all context for why people are nervous about this in the first place (Iran is playing a critical role in breaking the illusion of US hegemony and this could even be a pointless assassination)! Woo hoo! Billionaire down!
It’s not like this is going to make the political situation better in Iran if you view it that way. Now he will be memorialized for dying in the midst of a great struggle.
that or worcestershire
I think a key cope for these people is still that the US and allies’ production hasn’t really fully been unleashed. They were also claiming Biden was going to expand our MIC realistically, I guess because these people operate on contrarian headline takes circulating the posting arenas. When you throw a bunch of money into these expensive DOD projects it doesn’t really do anything other than multiply the cost of a project further. We never magically developed the capacity to bring chipmaking to the US which was something else Biden people trumpeted quite a bit years ago
