It seems like the point of this show is to give MAPPA animators the opportunity to take their shot at a bunch of classic anime scenes. Episode 1 they did the giant warrior from Nausicaa and episode 2 is a Macross missile massacre.
The plot interesting enough so far, while this show did turn out to be an isekai, at least it’s an old-school “learn a lesson” isekai and not a pointless power fantasy in a video-gamey world like the recent inescapable trend.
I thought am5 CPUs usually have big notches in the top part, seems like it should be easy enough to grab on to those.
Otherwise, there’s usually enough space around the sides that you can fit a fingernail/toothpick/tweezers in there and flip it out. You could also put your hand over it and flip the whole thing over.
I love the “We’ll need some time to consider your offer, thank you for meeting with us” response to the Ogre king being unreasonable. I knew Japanese businessmen have the most polite methods of telling you to fuck off so it was really interesting to have an explanation of the reasoning behind it.
I’m enjoying this series so far, here’s hoping it stays focused on effective business strategies and less on Harem nonsense. So far Dennosuke is staying professional and oblivious to Urmander’s obvious crush on him which is pretty funny so maybe that will be the running gag.
Congrats, I’m amazed you were able to get green joker so high with red deck. I always end up having it sit in single-digits until I inevitably ditch it.
Really uncool of her to induce an epileptic seizure on two standing patients to prove a point.
Nope, it’s the new dub where they use the Japanese character names. It’s weird to watch if you’ve got strong memories of the old dub.
While the US doesn’t have a parliamentary system, it’s functionally impossible to win the presidency without a nation-wide party with a presence in multiple states backing you. This is because the president is elected by the states so you need the infrastructure capable of winning a plurality of voters in multiple states which you can test by your party’s ability to win senate seats or governorships. Additionally, you would need support of enough members of Congress to actually implement any policy while during your term.
Most third-party presidential candidates in the US are grifters or fools as evidenced by the fact that they’ll run for president every year without even attempting to build out party infrastructure, push for alternative voting via citizen ballot initiatives, or win lower positions necessary to actually be successful.
Making third parties viable in the US is possible, but it will take a lot of work. It’s far easier to hijack one of the existing parties the way the Tea Party and later, Trump did.
Thanks for responding, I can definitely see your point that it wouldn’t be the best for some new Linux users.
However, speaking from my perspective as a new Linux user: all I wanted was an OS that I could use to play my steam library with little fuss and Bazzite delivered exactly what I wanted. I have no desire to make big changes and everything went perfectly fine. Steam and Firefox were already installed, the only other thing I needed was Discord which was easy to find in the appstore-like GUI.
Bazzite is definitely something I would recommend to new Linux users who are like me, folks who never bothered with Linux before the steam deck proved Linux gaming was viable without needing to learn Linux. There’s literally nothing I want to do with my PC that didn’t work out of the box. I didn’t even need to install any drivers like I would on windows.
What makes Bazzite difficult to get up and running for you? I just installed it for the first time and didn’t need to do anything else to get up and running.
It’s even faster to put it in ice water and the worst that can happen if you forget about it is your drink gets warm again.
That entire game was just forever chasing the high you got from that one time you had a really good party. I’m already finding myself glossing over the fact that 99% of them were awful and you only settled for them because you didn’t want to wait around another 30 minutes for chance of a better one.
It’s better without the caption IMO.
I use mine for grating whole nutmeg.
I loved that movie, definitely worth a watch.
I would drop Crazy Joker, doubling The Order will give you way more than +13 mult. That way you can also copy Cartomancer between rounds to get more money/hanged man for Canio.
It works pretty well as a one season show IMO. Without giving too much away: after watching the ending:
it’s obvious what happens next to the point where it works as a conclusion.
Does anyone (besides RTD) have any hype for this spinoff? The Sea Devils were so hokey and boring in that special.
It’s amazing how much better SMBC’s writing got over the years given that it started this bad.
Not the most interesting episode but we learned a little more about the world:
One thing I’m still not sure about is whether the izakaya Dennosuke visits is a real place in the world, a real place outside the world, or a construct of his mind.
