One could argue that filtering to black and white is in itself a violation of the code lol

That is a variation. That isn’t the standard thin blue line flag . That also isn’t desecrating a flag.
That is a flag built for a purpose.
Maybe you’re not aware but the American flag isn’t black and white. It’s red, white and blue.

One could argue incorrectly a lot of things
They are Compliant with the flag code. That isn’t the American flag. It would have to be an American flag then you add those things.
I prefer the solid black with a blue line. That’s what I have in front of my house.

Nah I’m proud of law enforcement. I like them to know we are on the same side.
Why would they need to know you’re on their side? Isn’t their job to protect and serve regardless?
I never said otherwise, but knowing where you have a safe house is always good.
They know they can stop to talk, use the restroom, eat their lunch, or do anything else they need to do.
I’m gonna hang one of those up then refuse them service when they try and enter lol

That is such a weird comment. Do you think someone you don’t know would enter your home? Do often have strangers entering your home?
I am involved in my community and talk to the local beat cops all the time. We have an amicable and cordial relationship.
In return I get a safer neighborhood and we have kept out the homeless people.
That explains a lot
