Wherever I want it to be. In my case it’s plex.

Like I wanted to watch menes on RIF, but reddit wanted to force me to watch it on their app. So I went to Lemmy.

Like i listen to all my music on spotify. I don’t need a different app for every record company.

Like I go to the library to borrow a book and return it after I’m finished. That goes for any and all books, if they don’t have the book I want, they can order it. Publishers won’t suddenly pull their books from the library, because their contracts expired and they made a new deal with a different library so now I have to subscribe to two libraries.

I can understand where you are coming from. I despise multiple streaming services, too. However, Plex is a free, ad supported second run streaming site. They aren’t pushing new movies to it, at least not well received ones or blockbusters. Asking for a tent-pole property like Star Wars to stream first on Plex is like walking into Wendy’s and demanding a Wagyu burger. You get what you pay for, and if you want Star Wars, you gotta throw some dollar bills at the mouse. Since you seem to be OK with ads, though, I’d say wait a month until all it’s episodes are up, and toss $8 for the month and watch it then, as well as whatever else you’ve been missing. That’s a pretty reasonable price to pay for a whole season of a show, plus anything else you can cram into the month.
