That pushing up behind my ballsack after taking a piss squeezes out the remaining urine from the piping instead of dripping out into my boxers during the next 15 minutes. That random commentor on reddit had no idea how big of an impact he made in the quality of my daily life.
If drippage is really that much/often of a problem I’d also advise working out and maybe a doctor visit. Your bladder and urethral sphincter should not be so weak.
I’m a dude. Your penis shouldn’t have urinary retention under normal circumstances… like occasionally when you’re very dehydrated or held it too long, yeah it happens and that advice is useful. But it’s not something that should happen every time.
I literally just saw a urologist and would have had this issue detected. The purpose of the visit was related to fertility ( all good lol ) but if something was wrong it would have been found. The entire system was checked and discussed.
It is a very common anecdote that people generally “shake” when they finish peeing, to ensure all is empty. This technique is just a more definitive version of that.

The drip in question is urine within the shlong itself, beyond the bladder.
Even a single drip is gross.
