The Washington State Department of Commerce has introduced a new program for instant EV purchase or lease rebates that can amount to a $9,000 discount for 3-year leases. For shorter leases or direct purchases, the rebate is $5,000, and qualifying buyers also don't have to pay the state tax.
This certainly makes several models very affordable.
