Second story is easily handled by someone in good physical shape but it’s super easy to fuck it up and break a bone or twist something.
That said, my 35 year old uncle literally lost his balance standing on flat ground, hit his head, and died within a couple minutes. Just like drowning in six inches of water, a fall from any height can be fatal if you fuck it up badly enough.
The drop from a second-story balcony is unlikely to produce injuries beyond a bruise anyway.
