I would though, it would be an incredible view. But only in at least as much safety as in a car.

The monkey’s paw curls. You find yourself in the passenger seat of a luxurious, self-driving car, driving up into the sky with the moon directly in front of you. A speed limit sign flies past; “55 mph”

Pretty much everyone who has been to space claims its one of the most transformative perspective changing things they have done.

Just wait until it gets filled with tourists.

Nothing quite spoils even the most awe-inpiring experience than being surrounded by people who “just have to” vocalize (worse, as some kind of performance for those around them) how much awe inspiring the whole thing is.

Mind you, I’m an introvert, so maybe it’s just me having trouble appreciating socially performative “awe”.

We should launch more people into space.

Your point was poorly made. You responded to someone saying people’s perspectives change when they’re launched into space and then you said we should do it to more people. That would indicate you think there are a lot of people that need to have prospective changes, not that you think they should die.

It’s called a joke. Many could benefit from the perspective change, but a lot also need to just be launched into space. Man, Lemmings are fuckin stupid.

It’s amazing that if a post has two possible contexts, people always assume THEIR context is the clear one and anyone who doesn’t assume it is an idiot (even if basic rules of implication in English would have the other context favored).
