Evacuating from red states? What the fuck are you talking about? So apparently if I’m not playing Underground Railroad to the pregnant and LGBTQ, I’m not doing my part? Okay, how many have YOU…. Evacuated.

Jesus man… that’s one hell of a straw man.

And it’s only inevitable if people don’t get off their asses and vote. But since you have taken to calling it such, that clearly shows you have no intention to try and change that.

    Wow man…

Imagine having the balls to blame those that are doing the ONE thing we have remaining to stop America from becoming a dictatorship.

    VOTE.

I notice you didn’t respond to the second part of my queation, where I asked if you were doing anything to help at all. Seems a bit sus that you can’t immediately tell me what sort of actions you’ve taken to support the people at risk under the new regime.

It’s only inevitable if people don’t get off their asses and vote.

Whether people go out and vote depends on how much the candidates inspire them to do so. Trying to blame the voters for the outcome of an election is counterproductive at best.

Imagine having the balls to blame those that are doing the ONE thing we have remaining to stop America from becoming a dictatorship.

You built a time machine and went back to complete the post-civil-war reconstruction?

Whatever makes you feel like you’re not part of the problem man. I’m not going to argue this with you.

Either vote, or you’re part of the problem. That’s where we are now. We’d all like it to be different. But it isn’t. Whoever’s fault it is- is IRRELEVANT.

Vote- because LIVES FUCKING DEPEND ON IT.

If all you’re doing is voting and whining about people who don’t vote hard enough then you’re part of the problem.

The problem is apathy, and depressed voting turnout is a symptom of apathy. If you want more people to care, then stop moaning on the internet and start volunteering.

I’m sorry, do you think you know me? Do you know what I do to contribute to the marginalized and oppressed?

            Do you know my EIN?

If all YOU are doing is flexing your entitlement on social media, then I’d say from the look of things- I’m not the one that needs to stop moaning. Apathy isn’t the only issue facing voter turnout.

People like you are the bigger issue. Almost 100 million people didn’t vote in 2016. Do you stand to suggest that all of them are apathetic and “depressed”?

You have no idea what you’re talking about.

            Discussion is over.

No, but when I asked, you dodged the question and got offended.

If all YOU are doing is flexing your entitlement on social media

So, nothing then? Just the reflexive projection when someone poses an entirely reasonable query about your contributions to the political process?

People like you are the bigger issue. Almost 100 million people didn’t vote in 2016.

Amd now you’re assuming I didn’t vote? Why?

Do you stand to suggest that all of them are apathetic and “depressed”?

Not all, but it is the most significant reason for someone to abstain from voting.

You have no idea what you’re talking about.

              Discussion is over.

What discussion? All you’ve done is shout “VOTE!” and whine about how some people don’t think voting is enough.

I’m not the person you need to convince. If you want to reach non-voters you’re going to have to get out of your parents’ basement from time to time.

Oh, and for the record, it’s not “sus” to not tell others what one does to help. I don’t use charity to win arguments. And asking stupid shit like this, thinking you’re going to catch someone is some gotcha! scenario speaks volumes of your maturity.

I don’t know why I bother trying anymore. You’d think I’d have learned my lesson after five straight elections of trying to convince liberals that voting isn’t enough to stop fascism.

I’ve accurately predicted the result of every Presidential election and its associated house/senate majorities since 2008, and I’m telling you that begging people to vote was never going to be enough to turn this election around.

Feel free to disregard me if you want. I know you’d rather hear that you’re going to win and don’t need to put in any effort.
