I knew something would be a shock this being the final, but damn they can squeeze in a ton of turns. Vicky getting called out, then killed.

I’m surprised they went down the list in the tower in the same episode. I was totally expecting that to be a next season thing.
Fence kiss was very cute and finally happened.
Was definitely not expecting grampa to come back.

I was really worried before this season came out that this would a filler season. But man it might be one of the best seasons yet. Every episode was a banger.

Same tbh. We got some quick (bro) scenes and Ashley’s V 💉. I bet the first episode of S5 will feature the aftermath of this purge significantly. HL is just isolating himself more and more. Stan’s comment from that dead ass scene is getting realer :P
I actually thought it wasn’t the best. In between episodes, I started rewatching S1 (ended up finishing it all up and going through S2 and S3 too… I’m terrible >.<) and man, it was so freaking good. First season is peak The Boys for me. Second and third are also good, but the first one is so solid. The fourth one had more ups and downs imo. The fourth episode (with HL’s visit to his ex-home lab) was an obvious up, but there were weaker episodes imo, like the one where they got Stan out (sad we didn’t get to see him in the finale, he’s out because of Vichy, is he not?).
Granted, I admit to not having watched the older seasons in a long time. I have no doubt S1 is probably the best. I should have said “except for S1”.
Stan being out is a little strange now that you mention it. I forgot about it, its like a little footnote. Did he survive? Is he going to be in s5?
I was surprised Ash didn’t fight anyone after the V. She’s gotta be either in ep5_1 or maybe she’s going to be some crazy slow burn thing that’ll be nuts.
Stan did survive yeah, Vichy blew up the driver’s head and let him out. I feel like he will play a minor part in S5 (maybe putting his manipulation skills back against HL?).
Ash might appear in Gen V S2 (sometime next year?) even before the main series’ last season. Anyway, I hope she will appear in ep 1.
