I saw that in the reddit thread I like codium have been using it for ages and have a bunch of plugins I like.
Afaik it uses a very similar codebase and plugins can be easily ported or might even work out of the box.
Anything that works with VSCodium works with Theia, Theia just has an optional deeper plugin system so you can completely customize it.
Ooooo didnt know that. How much more of my time must you force me to waste customising things.
