Zephyr’s Pass for the Game Boy Color has finally become available for purchase. The title, known as a technical showpiece for the platform, was first announced back in May by Incube8 Games. Developed and designed by Aaron Gadol, it blends exploration, puzzle-solving, action elements, with a narrative centered around a young hero, Abel, who teams up with a gang of pirates to defeat Thane, who is trying to become the Wind God.

The game promises to be quite an adventure, as described by the developer: “Navigate treacherous environments, engage in combat against enemies, and unravel intricate puzzles that guard ancient relics.” Players will be able to evolve their skills using the relics’ powers for new strategies and abilities when facing challenges.

For those interested, there are two versions available: a digital edition priced at $13.99 and a physical one (featuring cart, manual, sticker sheet, and box) costing $59.99. The latter is ready to ship right now as Incube8 Games confirms.

Did you try to buy this game back when they were having supply-chain issues? Will you be picking it up now?

I was interested in this until it said something like 4-5 hours of gameplay. Just can’t imagine spending like $75 with shipping on an RPG I’ll finish in one sitting.
