I’m in the post-ban blackpilled mode right no so please forgive me. I know reddit is falling apart but it isn’t happening fast enough. Is there any hope that the whole site will be destroyed? I really just want the whole site / app completely destroyed and thew Vichyite mods unable to have their power trips anymore.
It’s not going to completely die (soon), but it’s lost what used to make it special/different. Just look at the posts topping the popular subs - it’s a shadow of its former self. Unfortunately I can’t see anything really replacing it either. Times have moved on, I guess…
I agree. It’s basically a cross between Facebook and Quora now with even more authoritarian moderation. I think the next “reddit” will also be something different. I just wish more people would check out the alternatives and I wish the people designing the alternates (raddle, squabbles) were a little bit less esoteric so that they were easier to adopt.
