F you, Taylor Swift!” shouted Megyn Kelly, “and f all of the people who want to see these children have body parts chopped off.”

For those not fluent in Republican crazy-speak, Kelly’s meltdown was triggered by Taylor Swift’s endorsement of Kamala Harris the night before, barely one hour after Trump all but face-planted on the debate stage. Kelly was especially triggered by Swift highlighting her appreciation for vice presidential nominee Tim Walz’s support of LGBTQ+ rights.

Other right-wing commentators, like Ben Shapiro, took another approach: making fun of Swifties. “Note: if you vote for a particular candidate because your favorite singer is doing so, please don’t vote. You are too stupid to vote,” wrote Shapiro on X. Meanwhile, Elon Musk, the richest man on the planet, threatened to impregnate her.

Of course you don’t list where “here” is. I’m willing to bet that not only do they care about celebrities about the same as Americans, but also that many of those celebrities they care about are Americans.

Go watch the pre-race and opening ceremonies to Formula 1 races and compare the spectacle of USA to any other nation. You’ll find that “here” is basically “not USA”. Celebrities do exist, but they aren’t granted much status and often move to the USA to try garner that, as this seems to be the only place on the planet where popularity is a career path.

So confident in your position that even after being called out for not offering up where you live, you still very vocally dodge the question.

Also, if you think the us is the worst in the world for celebrity worship, you aren’t well versed in the topic at all. Many countries in Asia are far more obsessed with their celebrities than the us.

EatATaco, you have not asked a question.

No one has stated the US is the worst in the world, so I don’t know why you typed what you did.

“Here” is “not the US”; and that is the point. To state where I am would make no sense but it also wouldn’t be respective of where I have been.

I did not think such a point would be a challenge to grasp, let alone be upsetting. I’ll encourage you to stop making assumptions that upset you. That’s a you problem and it’s not nice to point fingers at others to spite the follies you’re “willing to bet on.”

Holy shit I can’t believe you are still dodging it. Hilarious.

You’re clearly not blessed with basic literacy. Perhaps start with placing a question mark somewhere so I have something to dodge.

The things that happen in your head, you need to externalise them so people don’t think you’re mad. Finding hilarity doesn’t help, it’s just weird now.

You’ve even addressed what you dodged. We both know it, why are you pretending otherwise?

                  You are loony.

I can only assume, you are wanting to know where I’m from? Even though it’s already been explained and you think you’ve asked but haven’t.

South Korea, New Zealand, England, Australia, and Canada. But, again, has nothing to do with anything as these are just places I have lived while there are many more I have been and I won’t bother listing them all. That’s been explained quite clearly for to correct your erroneous assumptions and get you back on topic. Seems to be pointless, though.

And of course, if that’s not it, then I have no idea. At this point, it seems you’re either simple or a troll.

                    I can only assume

You made it obvious before that you understood my implicit question…and you’re trying to play it off as if you have to “assume.” Lol

South Korea, New Zealand, England, Australia, and Canada.

Still avoiding where to currently live. Lol hilarious. And to live in South Korea and think America is bad when it comes to celebrity worship exposes a special type of ignorance about the us.

                    simple or a troll.

Definitely not a troll. Maybe simple. But at least I’m not dishonest, like some people still posting here.
