Also holy shit this movie still kicks so much ass. I rewatched it recently and i was blown away by how excellent it still is 25 years later. Most movies do not age this well.
When i first watched the matrix, everyone told me how cool and revolutionary it was. Then there was that first scene where trinity jumps through the window and it’s just a blurry super fake jump. And i thought: wow that movie looks ass, I can’t believe people like that. It’s not my favourite movie anymore, but it’s a very important movie to me. It’s when i first realised that i really like movies, and don’t just watch movies to pass time.
