    Can’t wait to see what becomes of this in a few years. $3500 is way too steep for me, and I think the whole idea of wearing one to take videos of your kids seems insane (side note: I expect a future iPhone to have a 3D camera), but I absolutely would use one for work if I could. I’ve used my Quest 2 a few times with Virtual Desktop or BigScreen to work in VR and I love the idea of it, but the resolution and FOV are too small, and transparency mode sucks on it

      Same (except that I don’t own a VR headset)

      I watched the keynote and was really amazed by the tech. I’m glad we have a true OS and stand-alone capabilities, but the fact that it can’t run macOS apps directly is a real bummer.

      It looks like Apple envision its headset as an iPad like environment.

      So I’m definitely hyped, but there’s no way I put 3500 bucks in a head-weared iPad just to be able to project my Mac screen in 3D.

      I definitely won’t be an early adopter, but I’ll hope for the best.
