The owner of a Colorado funeral home and his wife have been arrested after the decaying remains of at least 190 people were recently found at the facility. District Attorney Michael Allen said Wednesday that Jon and Carie Hallford were arrested in Wagoner, Oklahoma, on suspicion of four felonies: abuse of a corpse, theft, money laundering and forgery.

    Not a Colorado thing. A US thing. Having spent most of my life outside the US, I can tell you that most people in other developed countries often shake their heads in disbelief at US events and news stories. And it’s not getting any better.

        Not saying there aren’t crazies in other countries. The nutbag stories originating in the US are just overwhelming in sheer amount.

        I’m often surprised at the amount of backwoods and Racist things I hear about about the state on social media. I’ve visited neighboring states but I’ve not quite made it to CO yet. Hopefully those media pieces are just overblown?
