They actually are the symbols of the workers and do belong to the descriptions.

It’s just that many bad actors have and are trying to steal the symbols, such as the Soviet Union and China. Those have no correlation with leftism but people associate them to the symbols

I’m usually brigaded by fascist-minded and reactionary accounts

Not allowed to call out dictatorships

Wow, imagine thinking you’re so important, that people take time of their day to organise to organise downvoting some rando opinion, on a network that has no karma.

          Delusional.

Easy to explain shitty opinions by crying “brigaded”. Equivalent to “fake news”.

Lol I don’t care about them. They waste their time targeting us.

There is no karma but it’s easy to push dissident content out of sight that way. They do that on every platform – attempt to silence.

I don’t even share opinions (shitty or non-shitty) regarding these topics. I don’t matter that much

Same response as a “Swastika is just a sun symbol”

A symbol can change meaning depending on history. Hammer and sickle is the symbol of oppression, suffering, dictatorship, imperialism and inequality, and it’s meaning is influenced by the actions of soviet union and china.

I didn’t say against that. The fascist powers have made their mark on the symbols that is true. As I said, it is what people associate.

Do swastikas, hammers, stars etc. have positive meanings originally? Yes

Have fascist dictatorships ussd those symbols with horrible atrocities in the past and even today? Yes

Do people generally associate the latter? Yes
