I’ll go first. Mine is that I can’t stand the Deadpool movies. They are self aware and self referential to an obnoxious degree. It’s like being continually reminded that I am in a movie. I swear the success of that movie has directly lead to every blockbuster having to have a joke every 30 seconds

    I thought everyone (skynet, the resistance) thought it was ST as of T1, but that was wrong, as seen in T2.

      And then arguably T3 disproved T2’s “no fate” model by requiring some closed loop.

      As science fiction, that evolution is perfectly sensible. As storytelling… yeah, T2 as a response to T1 is so much better than T3 as a response to T2. Sarah Conner goes from a victim of circumstance, trapped by predetermination, to a psycho gym-rat ready to fight god. James Cameron explicitly tells the audience that escape and control are possible… and it’s fucking awesome.

      Then some bean counters went ‘but what if nuh-uh?’
