It was new years eve a couple years ago, I was on my own with my grandmother, she had gone to bed around 22:00. I was sitting in the living room, quite a large one at that. The centre piece is a massive fireplace and on both sides on the same wall, two doors with 3/4ths being windowed.
So anyway, I was sitting there enjoying some Scotch and around 11:45 I saw someone walk by the first door towards my grandmothers room, I immediately thought it was my grandmother getting some water (as irregular as it would be) . I instinctively looked at the second door expecting to see her head towards her room. So I stared fully expecting her to walk by, but no one. I kept looking for a good 5 minutes, nobody. That was followed by chills and all, it was a little creepy.
To this day I remember it clearly, my grandmother has said she’s seen “apparitions” of loved ones. I’m just a huge skeptic so I just don’t believe in all that. I personally just chalk it down to being tired and boozed up. Cheers.
