Interesting you say that, because it was facts and logic that started my journey into Christianity. If you’re feeling brave, have a look at Evidence That Demands a Verdict by Josh McDowell, an atheist lawyer who set out to prove once and for all that Christianity was a pile of old nonsense and ended up a believer.

To be honest, I have nothing against Christians that actually follow their book (The New Testament) and actually love thy neighbor regardless of faith. The problem is that it is a tool used by terrible people who don’t even actually believe in it to control gullible people. That, and the groups of Christians that go around telling people they are wrong for not believing in it and are going to suffer in hell for eternity.

As an agnostic/athiestic person, I am never going to tell anyone they are wrong for believing in something unless they come at me like that. Sadly, a lot of Christians do seem to care way too much about others belief systems and seem to be convinced that they have the one true answer. The truth is that nobody does, and if they tell you differently they are lying to themselves, or trying to manipulate you.

I will check out that ex athiest lawyer when I am bored and need something to watch, just to understand a new viewpoint, and I appreciate you sharing your story with me.
